The police say that they could not find any reason behind this sudden shooting and believe that it is too early to say anything on this, at the moment. The scenario at Walmart switched from an active shooting scene to a crime scene investigation; a homicide scene.
Fear after shooting
A little kid had ran into the store to warn people of the shooting at Walmart but no one paid much attention to him until the shooting actually took place. People started running around, screaming especially kids. The specialists’ team tried to rescue as many folks as they could, mainly children.
Many people were still on the ground after the shooting was over. The fear stayed lingering for many hours after the incident took place. They cannot say which weapon was used for shooting but it seems to be a riffle so far. This all started unfolding around 11:00am local time at Walmart which is around 5.4 Km south from the Airport. There are multiple law enforcement bodies on scene. The local El Paso police force, the bureau of alcohol and tobacco firearms as well as the Texas department of public safety and the FBI who are asking people to stay away from the mall right now as they are investigating. They say that there is no imminent threat right now. They do have one suspect but still tactical team is doing sweeps of the area.

This is one of the busy Walmart of the city at east side. So the scene at 11:00 am at Waltmart would be tons of people coming in for shopping. Mexican nationals were coming here and people from texas as well. The community here is taught Knit, sharing the same river valley. So the population is over three million people here. El Paso has been one of the safest cities in the United Sates. A shooting like this is really some unexpected thing here. People living in New York city are alarm after hearing this news. United States is a safe place to live but news like this make people dismal. We do not want such incidents in any part of the world, let USA alone.
