The date has also officially announced for the 71st annual Prime time Emmy Awards that is September 22 at 8 pm on Fox. Hence, these nominations this year were surprisingly unpredictable.
Winning the nominations this year, Game of Thrones is indeed a leader in drama categories. While talking about the Best Actor and Leading Actress, Game of Thrones once more wins the heart of people. Harington and Emilia Clarke are nominated respectively.

Moreover, other characters of this series like Christie, Sophie Turner, Peter, Lena have made the total sum-up nominations for Game of Thrones to 32. This is the most received nomination by any show so far.
Although, the thrones haul came up with some dissatisfaction from fans over the show’s finale. But despite the fact, Game of Thrones 32 nominations was up from 22 last year and brings the show’s grand total to 161 nominations.
So, this year HBO’s sponsor programs lead to 137 nominations which are the most in the channel’s history, beating Netflix’s 117 nominations all apart. In 2018, HBO and Netflix have a tie in nominations but this time HBO took place of high rank.
Hence, this year, Netflix’s haul was helped by programs including “When They See Us,” “Russian Doll,” “Our Planet,” and “Ozark.”

1.Mahershala Ali, from True Detective. 2.Benicio del Toro, from Escape at Dannemora. 3.Hugh Grant, from A Very English Scandal.
Leading actresses in comedy series are 1. Christina Applegate, from Dead to Me, 2. Rachel Brosnahan, from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Julia-Louis Dreyfus, from Veep.
Moreover, the leading actress in the drama series is 1. Emilia Clarke, from Game of Thrones and Jodie Comer, from Killing Eve.
